With the rise of COVID-19, Froggy's Fog has turned its focus to helping combat the spread of the virus by using the tools and ingredients we have at our disposal to create a Hand Sanitizer Base that can be used to create your own hand WHO required Hand Rub formulation.  This is a pre-mixed formula of all the inactive ingredients you need to make a WHO-recommended Sanitizer Hand Rub.

Is it safe for my hands?

YES! This base contains all the ingredients required by the World Health Organization in its guidelines for hand sanitizer manufacturing.

What is the Consistency?

This is not a gel base.  It is an unscented, watery base which when combined with the proper percentage of alcohol, meets the WHO recommended formulation for hand sanitizer.  

Does it have an odor?

This base contains only lab-grade water, glycerin, and hydrogen peroxide, so it is essentially an odorless formula.  There are no added scents or fragrance added.

CAN I ADD SCENTS OR ESSENTIAL OILS?

Yes, since this is just a base, you can add whatever you like to scent it, however this will alter the chemical structure and may not adhere to WHO or CDC recommeded standards.  This should be done at your own risk.

What is the WHO recommended formulation?

The WHO Recommended Formulation for Local Production outlines what guidelines manufacturers must follow in order to state that they meet WHO recommended levels.  You can find more information about it HERE.  This formulation requires at least 80% alcohol to be strong enough to be distriubted.  Please read below to find out what alcohols will work.
